A Return to the BodyA Reunion with the Soul

Before the leaves, before the visions, there was the Vine—ancient, knowing, alive.

Banisteriopsis caapi, the sacred vine of the Amazon, has been revered for generations as the true teacher, the healer who speaks not in flashes of color, but in the language of the body,

the whisper of intuition, the cry of the soul remembering itself.

Without Chacruna, without the leaf, the Vine invites you inward to the intelligence of your body allowing you to feel your way through the forgotten corridors of the heart. To meet the frozen grief, hidden wounds, tangled roots of dis-ease held deep in the body's memory.

This is not a medicine of spectacle.

This is a medicine of truth.

Rich in beta-carbolines, the Vine nourishes the mind, guards the spirit, and restores the forgotten pathways of healing within. It brings light not in blinding flashes, but through steady, tender revelation.

Here, the work is real. It is cathartic, somatic, profound.

It is the slow unfurling of the soul from the clenched fists of old stories.

It is the return to breath, to sensation, to the sacred ground of the Self.

Under the guidance of the Vine, and with careful facilitation, you are called to listen deeply, to trust the currents of your own body, to witness the child within who has waited so long to be seen.

There are no shortcuts here. No dazzling distractions. Only you — raw, open, and utterly alive.

If you are seeking fireworks, this is not the path. But if you are seeking your own healing, your own wholeness—if you are ready to meet yourself at the root—then the Vine is waiting.

Take the journey inward.

Drink. Feel. Remember.

Caapi Vine Ceremony

               Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Vine Ceremony?

A Vine Ceremony is a sacred gathering where only the Banisteriopsis caapi vine is used — the traditional teacher plant of the Amazon — without the DMT-containing leaves (Chacruna or Chaliponga). It invites deep, somatic healing by working directly through the body, emotions, and intuition.

Is there DMT in the Vine brew?

No. Pure Vine brews contain no DMT. This makes the medicine completely legal in the United States and focuses the work on physical, emotional, and energetic healing without intense psychedelic visions.

What are the effects of the Vine?

Participants often experience heightened bodily awareness, emotional release, subtle intuitive messages, and somatic (body-based) insights. The experience is more grounded, muted visually, and deeply internal compared to traditional Ayahuasca ceremonies.

Will I still have visions?

Typically, no intense visions occur without the DMT-containing leaf. However, because the Vine is an MAOI and the human body produces its own natural DMT, spontaneous visual, auditory, or intuitive experiences can sometimes arise—usually in a gentler, more integrated form.

How does a Vine ceremony differ from an Ayahuasca ceremony?

The focus with Vine is more on catharsis and embodiment rather than visions. It draws trauma and stagnation out of the body and encourages deep somatic healing. The approach is therapeutic, guided, and supportive, with more facilitation and grounding than a traditional Ayahuasca circle.

How long does a Vine ceremony last?

Ceremonies typically last between 4 to 6 hours, allowing time for the body to fully process and integrate the work. Additional time for sharing, grounding, and integration is encouraged after ceremony closes.

What kind of support is offered during ceremony?

Because Vine ceremonies can activate deep emotional and somatic release, gentle yet direct guidance is provided throughout. Participants are encouraged to stay connected to their body, breath, and emotions. Facilitation may include body-based prompts, grounding techniques, and emotional support.

What are the physical benefits of the Vine?

Banisteriopsis caapi contains beta-carbolines, which have been shown to possess neuroprotective, cognitive enhancing, anti-cancer, and antidepressant properties. The Vine works not only on the spirit, but also on cellular and energetic levels to restore health and vitality.

Is purging (vomiting, crying, sweating) common?

Emotional or physical purging can occur, though it tends to be more subtle than with full Ayahuasca. Crying, shaking, laughing, deep breathing, and emotional waves are common signs of release and healing.

How should I prepare for a Vine Ceremony?

Preparation involves light fasting, clean eating, and mindful emotional readiness. It's important to approach the ceremony with an open heart, clear intentions, and a willingness to surrender to the body’s natural healing intelligence. Specific dietary and energetic preparation guidelines will be provided before ceremony.
